Live betting without live streaming
MeridianBet does not hold streaming rights, so in-play betting runs on animated match trackers rather than video. The tracker shows possession, attacks and shots in near real time, which is enough to follow the shape of a match but not enough to judge a disputed decision or a player's body language.

The winnings cap is the one to check before building a monster accumulator: a 50,000 TZS ticket at combined odds of 1,000 would return more than the weekly cap pays, and the excess is simply not owed.

Odds formats and the bet slip
The site offers four odds formats: decimal, fractional, American and Hong Kong. Decimal is the default in Tanzania and the easiest to sanity-check: multiply the stake by the decimal price and you have the total return, stake included. A 1,000 TZS bet at 2.50 returns 2,500 TZS in total, of which 1,500 TZS is profit.
